Given the nature of our business, we are always on the hunt for alternative food storage options that help families to steer clear of plastics. While I have been working to rid my kitchen of plastic, I was feeling a serious gap in my available wares when it came to wrapping up leftovers. Not everything fits into pyrex or stainless steel (ss) containers well enough to put their lids on. If I made a plate of leftovers up for my hubby, I had to use plastic wrap or aluminum foil to cover the plate. I use these everyday in our house. Since having them, I haven’t used a single zip-lock bag or plastic wrap. Every time I use one, I feel like I am helping the environment a little bit at a time. The Flats seal really well to whatever dish you mold them around. It helps to let the warmth of your fingers create the seal. They take a little more time to wrap something up than plastic wrap, but only 30 more seconds or so. The experience is quite enjoyable anyway as the smell of beeswax is divine!

My 2 year old twins love the Abeego Snack. It is PERFECT for take along snacks for small fingers. The cone-like shape minimizes spills, they are small and light, and they seal shut with the help of their tie complete with a little bead on the end, a nice detail. I have also been using one for my 9 month old son to store his Cheerios for when we are out and about.

I believe these are one of our greatest finds. Function is a 10, form also a 10, and durability a 10 so far. They wash up well in COLD water, note the flats end up a little wrinkled looking, but they still work perfectly use after use!
