I saw a post on twitter the other day from @thesmartmama about the deaths of two little girls who were exposed to a pesticide used to get rid of voles in the front lawn of their home. You can read the article about it here.

The other day I made a comment to Corina about someone who visited my house that didn't take their kid's shoes off. I am not a clean freak by any means but it did seem a little weird. While I was thinking about it from a "dirt" perspective, Corina raised another, more concerning issue, pesticide residues.

I remember running away from my mom and when she finally caught me, turning my head away as she painted my upper lip with the eye burning, stinging goop. Did it help? I don't know.
